Frequently Asked Questions

Developmental disorders are conditions that affect a child's ability to communicate, learn, or interact with others. Common examples include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities, Speech and Language Disorders, and Intellectual Disabilities.

Excessive phone usage can impact a child’s behavior in several ways. It may lead to reduced attention span, irritability, and difficulty managing emotions. Too much screen time can also affect sleep patterns and social skills. However, when used in moderation and with parental guidance, digital devices can provide educational benefits. It’s important to set clear screen time limits, encourage offline activities, and promote healthy digital habits to ensure a balanced approach.

If your child has developed a habit of eating only while watching a mobile screen, try gradually reducing screen dependence by introducing engaging mealtime activities. Start by creating a distraction-free dining environment, involve your child in food preparation, and use storytelling or conversation to keep them engaged. Set consistent mealtime routines and offer praise for eating without screens. Patience and consistency are key to breaking this habit.

Yes! With the right support, ADHD children can excel academically. Schools should provide Individualized Education Plans (IEP), extra time for tasks, and behavior management strategies.

Studies suggest that 1 in 100 children in India have Autism Spectrum Disorder, while 5-10% of school-aged children may have ADHD. Learning disabilities and speech delays are also increasingly diagnosed. However, due to a lack of awareness, many cases go undiagnosed..

No, Autism is a lifelong condition, but early intervention and therapy can help children develop better communication, social, and daily living skills.
